It was the day of Christmas & I thought to myself
where did the time go ?
how come the days flew by so fast... ?
as I pondered this it came to mind
have I truly celebrate the true meaning of Christmas not only today but throughout all time?
I hope you all have a merry Christmas year not only a Christmas day...
& carry the spirit of the season through out next year
so that all whom come, will love to be near
for you give the greatest gift
a gift we all hold dear
the gift of Christ like love
with all my heart I ask you now share your love to those all around.
To all a Merry Christyear & a happy New Year.

A Book of Mormon Moment
It seems to me that when life or the world will try to pull you down, the Lord turn things around. This last week has been a challenge for me I'm not sure way but it maybe because of the presser of the holidays or my struggle with other things. Life hasn't been the easiest lately but just like in the book of Mormon story where a group of people are forced to be slaves and the Lord didn't take away the trial but straighten the people to handle the trail. This is how I feel, our trials haven't changed but we have changed to fit or over come our challenges. What a blessing it is to know this story it has given me a peace of mind.
On top of that the Lord has given us straight through our families... I"m so grateful for our families and the faith they have. The days that have been the hardest for me they seem to know, by the spirit, & they will call stop by or help out in some way. I'm so thankful for our families & the gospel. What a blessing it is to know who I am in this world & what a great plan the lord has for me & what Love our Heavenly Father has for us.

Dani Halie & Steve came over to our house a couple weeks ago they brought Dad with them. To visit & let Andy see the baby for the 1st time. I made dinner for them & they made dessert. Andy & I rented a game New Super Mario Bros Wii, we have enjoyed it cause it is like the old school games. Well, we got everyone to play, yes everyone even Dad. It was fun to watch dad play, I've never seen him play anything like that before. Here are some pics from that night.

Turkey Day 2009
Here is a little of our turkey day this year. My dad cooked the best turkey ever, he smokes it with hickory, man does it taste like heaven. Then my mom made the pies as always she does an amazing job. She also made homemade cranberry sauce this year. Shauntell baked some super awesome rolls. I made candy yams for the 1st time they were not that bad & I did the decorations. Dani & Steve made mashed potato's & they too were yummy. We had my Aunt Dayna & Uncle Scott's family over they brought Grandma Gentry's famous apple salad. We stuffed our self at 12 ish then went to a movie planet 51. After the movie came home and stuffed ourselves with pie.
Here are some pictures I sort of took random pictures most of the decor. Just because I forgot to take pictures the rest of the night. For the decor I made a two thankful trees, where we all had 3 leaves to write what we were thankful for & place them on the tree. Then my mom had a cute idea to use pictures for name tag placements instead of name tags. Then both mom & I bought flowers and didn't tell each other so we had a ton of flower arrangements. Hope you enjoy.

Ridd Alert
So finally I've found some time to write on the blog. Life has been a mess lately but thank goodness things are calming down. Andy is back home from the hospital and I'm working again. Now if we could win a million dollars life would be grand.
I just wanted to thank all who has been there for us we couldn't have survive with out your prayers, and thoughts. We love you all.
Here is a picture of Andy in ICU... He would get so hot because of the Bi-pap, so we would get wash clothes and soak them in cold water and place them on his head, neck and legs it was a funny site to come into his room and see him setting there with all those wash cloths all over him. He reminded me of Grandpa Gentry with his towel over his head to cover his ears.
Silly Andy pantz.

Packed and ready to go.....
We went up to Park City to watch Conference with Andy's family this weekend. It was alright just because Andy & I didn't go up until Sunday & we drove through a Rain/Snow storm, that part wasn't the fun but once we got to the Condo we relaxed and enjoyed the rest of our Sunday hanging out with the Ridds.
I do have to say that the funnest thing that happened there was when Morgan got into a duffel bag and Grandpa Ridd swung him around.... It was hilarious to see Morgans head peeking out of a zipped up Bag... He was like a small puppy that you sometime see owners have and the only thing you see is the dogs head.... but imagine a kids head instead of a dog... I laughed so hard I almost had a accident. Silly Morgan.

This is one of them Apple has created a new laptop called the "Mac Wheel" So all you mac lovers your in for a new toy. Like guy on the show said "If it's new, shinny, and made by Apple I have to have it...." So dip into your pockets or save your pennies for your Mac Wheel.

Dani the mother to be
I'm so excited for my little sister Dani she is going to be have a baby girl around Oct. 22, 2009. We've had a couple baby showers and still more to come....
It is strange to see your little sister that you use to take care of become a beautiful woman, caring the most precious gift in this world, a Child.
Wow, time doesn't seem to slow down at all, does it.
I remember brushing Danielle's hair, bossing her around, trying to make her feel better when she fell & bumped her knee. I cherish those moments we had when we were teens and talked about boy's or how we had good/bad days at school... but most of all when we would have heart to heart conversations and the spirit of love would envelop us.
I'm no longer a big sister anymore nor is she a little sister.... We've become friends and equals.
I just wanted to let her know how much I love her and how proud I am of her.
Dani you taught me many lessons. Spiritually you were always the bigger sister, one that brought me back to the basics. I love that you are so obedient to the commandments. Your heart is of gold, you truly try to treat others with the love of our Savor. You have taught me so much thank you for being you. You are a piece in our families puzzle that could never be replace or taken away. You have all that it take to be mother and more. I love you with all my heart.
love your sister in heaven and on earth

Ridd Family Reunion
Last week all of us Ridds headed down to Koosharem, UT for a Family Reunion. Grandpa Dale Ridd has some land down in Koosharem so Dales kids decided to plan a get together.
After all their hard planing and work we came together a enjoyed the windy warm weather of Koosharem. Some of my favorite highlights were dutch oven dinner, camped out in Grandpas garage or in tents on the front lawn. The train of 4 wheelers, and being able to drive one all by myself. Fun activities for both kids and adults.
Here is Grandpa Dale Ridd, pulling out on his 4-wheeler.
Safety First. I thought it was so funny to see the boys in the huge helmets.
Look dad no hands.
Michael and Morgan on the road.
All of us on our way to eat our lunch in the mountains.
Me holding on tight as Andy drove.
Eating lunch.
Cowboy the pony he is so cute.
Corey on cowboy while his son leads the way.
Colleen put together a rockn' fun scavenger hunt using the GPS. My team and Andy's team lost, so sad. But the Winning team got some really funny prizes. One was a belly dancing book with chimes. They gave them to Jess because she has a sister that Belly Dances. Jess was showing Malia how to use the Chimes.

Grandpa in cold country
Believe it or not Grandpa Gentry made a grand leap to the cold country. He came from the hot of all hot, St. George, to the Cold as a ice cube, North Logan UT. His health has become a factor and he felt he needed to be closer his kids. We are all excited because it will give us all more opportunities to create memories with him. Welcome to Logan Grandpa.... I made him a wreath that will hopefully remind him of his favorite fishing spot.... "Hell's Kitchen" and the heat.
We love you Grandpa Gentry.
I forgot to take my camera with me when he first arrived at his apartment at Pioneer Valley Lodge in North Logan. But I'll have to post some pic.s of his new home.
